None is universal: the most powerful genjutsu do not yield to these methods. Sakura shows a talent for detecting them early on. Earlier, Kurenai, a genjutsu specialist, had also been put in trouble by him. Itachi traps Naruto in an illusion, and in the final fight between the brothers Sasuke manages to break Itachi's Tsukuyomi. It is anime-only material. It shows how genjutsu remains a tactical tool for the new generation, more useful combined with other techniques than on its own.
